Drivezol is the optimal tool for power-driving your Scruzol. Together, Scruzol and Drivezol form a whole new design concept that makes so much sense! Watch this video to see how they work in perfect harmony.

Just like the Scruzol, a Drivezol makes ingenious use of both its ends. The result is a tool system that packs maximum versatility into minimum space.

Below are CAD images that illustrate Drivezol’s main conceptual features.

Here you see how one end of the Drivezol is used to store its Scruzol, just like a dagger in its scabbard. The stored Scruzol is held in place by internal friction pads so it can be easily withdrawn when needed. When freed from its Drivezol, the Scruzol can be either handheld for manual driving or power-driven in the chuck of a conventional drill (see images at the bottom of this page or visit the Scruzol.com website).

You can also see how, for light-duty power-driving, the Scruzol can be easily transferred from its scabbard in one end onto the powered drive stub in the other end. Drivezol’s “store on one end, power-drive on the other”design model maps perfectly onto Scruzol’s “manually drive one end, power-drive the other”.

No other power tool in the “Electric Screwdriver” market provides a breakaway tool of any kind. The fact that Drivezol’s breakaway tool happens to be a Scruzol makes this marriage unbeatable. Whether it’s used independently or power-driven by Drivezol, the Scruzol can always be used to perform its 10 unique functions.

Note how Scruzol’s strong central ring magnet performs four functions:

  1. It retains 12 spare screwdriver bits in the handle in a uniquely ergonomic manner
  2. It imparts an extra-strong magnetic attraction to the shaft-end bit-socket and this in turn enables hands-free gripping of screws.
  3. It conveniently holds spare screws onto the side of Scruzol’s handle (even when spinning at high RPM in an electric drill)
  4. It imparts an extra-strong magnetic attraction to the handle-end bit-socket and this in turn holds the Scruzol onto the Drivezol’s ¼” power-drive stub.

Those four functions are unique to the Scruzol-Drivezol tool system and are the result of careful design that focuses on keeping things simple.

Light-duty power-driving.

Heavy-duty manual-driving.

The Scruzol can also be separated from its Drivezol and used anywhere for either manual-driving or for heavy-duty power-driving in an electric drill (see images at the bottom of this page)

When mated together, the Scruzol and Drivezol form an ultra-compact unit that can be stored upright within a tiny footprint.

LEDs surrounding the drive stub illuminate the spinning Scruzol. When the Scruzol’s not there, those LED’s enable the Drivezol to be used as a general-purpose flashlight.

Note the control switch: slide it forward to drive a screw in, pull it back to drive the screw out. Push on “Drivezol” at anytime for illumination!

Drivezol’s charger stores everything neatly onto any electrical outlet. It looks great in any room and you’ll always know where to find it.

Inductive coupling means you can charge the Drivezol simply by dropping it onto the charger’s dome. The belt clip frees your hands wherever you go.
